Advocacy Committee: Championing Change for Older AdultsThe GROWS Advocacy Committee is dedicated to identifying and addressing key issues that impact older adults in Montgomery County. By working together, we strive to create meaningful change, support vital services, and ensure that our community remains a great place to age. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1 PM to discuss areas of interest to our members, share insights, and plan initiatives that highlight successes, challenges, and gaps in services for older adults. These meetings often feature guest speakers or discussions on pressing advocacy topics. Check the GROWS calendar each month for the Zoom link or meeting location. Why Advocacy MattersAging adults face unique challenges—from accessing home and community-based services to ensuring healthcare equity and affordable long-term care.
